DESCRIPTION:Art House 310 Final Friday – Klare Petit-Frere & Amy Baber\nOpening Reception | Final Friday February 26th\, 2021 | 6-10pm \nShow hangs through March 21st\, 2021. \nKLARE PETIT-FRERE is a local artist\, born and raised in Wichita\, Kansas. She’s always enjoyed designing and creating and has recently decided to pursue a career in the creative space full-time. A lot of the work she creates is inspired by her time living abroad in Haiti. Her work combines the beautiful tropical plants and the architectural designs found on the island within a minimal color pallet. She has been oil painting since 2017 and has studied under artist Ernest Vincent Wood III. She believes art should be able to tell a story and spark questions within the viewer to create a discussion.
