SUMMARY:Art House 310 First Friday – Chloe Cloud & Alexandria Olthoff
DESCRIPTION:Art House 310 First Friday – Chloe Cloud & Alexandria Olthoff\nOpening Reception | First Friday April 3rd\, 2026 | 6-10pm\nThis event is free to attend and open to the public. Show hangs through April 19th\, 2026.\nArt House 310 is located at 310 S. Laura. Two blocks SE of Douglas & Washington in downtown Wichita. \nNOTE: Open gallery hours throughout the exhibition are generally Tuesday and Thursday\, 6-9pm and Sunday\, 1-4pm. \nCHLOE CLOUD \nI am an interdisciplinary studio artist and graphic designer based in Wichita\, Kansas\, working across mediums to question how we assign value—what we cherish\, what we overlook\, and what we throw away. \nThis body of work began not in the studio\, but on quiet walks through my small college neighborhood. I started picking up scraps of litter—shards of plastic\, faded fabric\, fragments of packaging—with the simple intention of cleaning up my community. But somewhere between the sidewalk and my doorstep\, my perspective shifted. Among the refuse were unexpected colors\, compelling textures\, and strangely elegant forms. What I first dismissed as trash began to reveal itself as material—full of potential\, history\, and character. \nI became fascinated by the tension between discard and desire. How might I challenge the narrative of worthlessness attached to these objects? How could I elevate what had been abandoned? \nIn response\, I began pairing found debris with thoughtfully curated vintage clippings. By manipulating scale and employing optical illusion\, I transform these fragments into imagined fashions\, theatrical silhouettes\, and expansive landscapes. A scrap of plastic becomes couture. A twist of wire becomes architecture. A fragment of packaging becomes terrain. Through collage and assemblage\, the overlooked is recast as aspirational\, playful\, and powerful. \nThese small rubbish sculptures have redefined my creative practice. They invite me to slow down\, to notice\, and to honor the overlooked. What began as an act of cleanup has become an act of re-seeing—finding beauty in what was once discarded and joy in the act of transformation. \nSee more of Chloe’s work on Instagram: @wasted.wonderings and @chloecloud.design \nALEXANDRIA OLTHOFF \nI am a full-time artist\, born and raised here\, shaped by both staying and leaving. I’ve lived in and moved through places around the world\, but my work has always been about coming back to myself—my instincts\, my values\, my anger\, my softness\, and my truth. \nI am celebrating! I am also tired as hell and looking for a new life balance while on a journey of diving in\, learning and growing. \nEvery piece here comes from a portfolio I built over two years of obsessive focus\, discipline\, doubt\, and stubborn belief. This is the work that got me my tattoo apprenticeship. It didn’t happen by accident. It happened because I showed up over and over again and refused to quit. This exhibition is both a celebration and a threshold: honoring the discipline and devotion that brought me here\, while opening the door to a new direction in my creative life. \nAnimals show up again and again in my work because they don’t lie. They carry power\, vulnerability\, protection\, survival\, and instinct without apology. Alongside them live themes of justice\, acceptance\, feminism\, queerness\, and representation. Sometimes my work is an open heart. Sometimes it’s a middle finger. Often it’s both. \nI make art to say the things I don’t always have words for. To share my inner world. To carve space for softness\, rage\, humor\, grief\, desire\, and a very clear fuck you / fuck it / fuck all when needed. Anything gay\, anything defiant\, anything honest belongs here. \nTattooing is not a departure from my art practice—it’s an evolution. I’m not abandoning painting or creating. I’m expanding. I continue to accept custom work and pet portraits\, now with longer timelines as my schedule shifts. \nI dance when I can. I travel the world with my husband. I disappear into home when I need to. All of it feeds the work. All of it shows up here. \nThis show is about persistence\, transformation\, and choosing myself—again and again—until it finally paid off. \nSee more of Alexandria’s work online: linktr.ee/alexandriaolthoff\, on Instagram: @alikatart7\, and on Facebook: @AlikatArtBiz \nwww.ArtHouse310.com\nFacebook | @ArtHouse310\,  Instagram | @ArtHouse310\, TikTok | @AngieAwesomePants

SUMMARY:Art House 310 First Friday – Josh Bethel & Kevin Hansen
DESCRIPTION:Art House 310 First Friday – Josh Bethel & Kevin Hansen\nOpening Reception | First Friday May 1st\, 2026 | 6-10pm\nThis event is free to attend and open to the public. Show hangs through May 24th\, 2026.\nArt House 310 is located at 310 S. Laura. Two blocks SE of Douglas & Washington in downtown Wichita. \nNOTE: Open gallery hours throughout the exhibition are generally Tuesday and Thursday\, 6-9pm and Sunday\, 1-4pm. \nJOSH BETHEL \nJosh Bethel\, The Artist Known as JRB5\, is a colorful artist and podcast host based out of Wichita\, KS. His artwork is a vibrant menagerie of bizarre creatures and surreal scenes. Each piece is a puzzle of symbolism and wonder\, inviting viewers into a world where the unexpected is the norm. \nOver the last four years he has created 100’s of traditional paintings and digital pieces of artwork. His artwork can be found on Room Green Productions social media pages where he creates artwork\, content and his podcasts\, Art Assault Podcast and ForMusicLoversOnly! the Podcast. \nThe Art Assault Podcast is a unique interview style podcast where him and Kevin Hansen chat with some of the coolest people on the planet\, while collaborating on a painting during the live broadcast. They have over 100 episodes under their belt with no end in sight. \nForMusicLoversOnly! the Podcast is his newest podcast where him and his cast of rotating hosts create a Top 5 List of their favorite songs from that week’s topic and discuss why these songs have made their list. \nSee more of Josh & Kevin’s work online: roomgreenproductions.com on Instagram: @roomgreenproductions Facebook: @RoomGreenProductions and YouTube: @roomgreenproductions \nKEVIN HANSEN \nHello\, my name is Kevin\, and welcome to Art House 310. I want to change the world by becoming an artist. My studio of work can be created almost anywhere. Not just in my studio\, but live in a podcast studio\, in a bar\, a corner on the sidewalk\, or even a parking lot where I just pull up. I do my best work with an audience. Where I feed off the energy from an audience to create the images to be presented. I rarely plan what is going to be created. I add layers of color and shapes till an image becomes alive from the process. \nIt’s a raw process of creativity that compelled me to continue to explore the depth of the energy and imagery around you. I want my viewers to realize anyone can create. Just find the tools you want to create with. I have utilized my live art presentation to help raise tens of thousands of dollars over the years and I will continue to do so. \nI hope you enjoy my art. I’ve been doing art as long as I can remember. Even took enough classes in college to get a degree. I never stopped\, even during my stint in the military. I retired in May of 2025 so that I can pursue my life dream of being creative full time. \nSee more of Josh & Kevin’s work online: roomgreenproductions.com on Instagram: @roomgreenproductions Facebook: @RoomGreenProductions and YouTube: @roomgreenproductions\nSee more of Kevin’s work on Instagram: @kevin_gary_hansen and Facebook: @kevin.hansen.1671 \nwww.ArtHouse310.com\nFacebook | @ArtHouse310\,  Instagram | @ArtHouse310\, TikTok | @AngieAwesomePants

SUMMARY:Art House 310 First Friday – Michella Tripoli & Don Praseuth
DESCRIPTION:Art House 310 First Friday – Michella Tripoli & Don Praseuth\nOpening Reception | First Friday June 5th\, 2026 | 6-10pm\nThis event is free to attend and open to the public. Show hangs through June 21st\, 2026. \nArt House 310 is located at 310 S. Laura. Two blocks SE of Douglas & Washington in downtown Wichita. \nNOTE: Open gallery hours throughout the exhibition are generally Tuesday and Thursday\, 6-9pm and Sunday\, 1-4pm. \nMICHELLA TRIPOLI \nAs a creative in the In the era of digital influence\, it’s becoming harder than ever to listen to our own voice among the static. There is more pressure than ever to compare\, to compete\, to filter our individualism through a superficial lens. The digital world is loud and demanding. Be consumable. Become a product\, a brand\, appease the algorithm. Visibility\, views\, interactions- these are your measurements of worth. Keep up or be forgotten. \nThe sad truth is\, when we listen to this narrative we slowly start to believe that playing the game is the only way to achieve “success”. We forget why we create in the first place. We cannot let imaginary rules and trivial incentives dictate our motives. We must dig deeper and remember who we are and what truly inspires us to create. \nWe must quiet the noise. \nAn artist needs time\, silence\, boredom\, and consistent disappearance from the noise. We need space where work can arrive genuine and unfiltered\, where we can simply be a vessel for whatever is calling to us. We need space to rest\, to write\, to connect. To feel present and alive. Art becomes inevitable when the focus is on the actual sensation of inspiration moving through the body\, and less on the expected outcome. The less forced\, the easier the flow. \nThis series is an attempt to represent that feeling. When I silence the noise and listen to what calls to me\, I’m drawn into nature every time- as far away from urban chaos as possible. That’s when I feel the strongest connection with the divine source. \nThese works represent feeling grounded\, connected\, letting it flow\, and being brave enough to listen to the quiet voice inside. They are the result of carving out a small slice of freedom for myself\, free of any pressure or limitations. I allow myself to try new things\, make mistakes and embrace them. I experiment with more natural color schemes\, organic textures\, and challenging myself to do more with less. \nI’m remembering to find the joy in the process of creation itself. I’m remembering who I am and what my true calling is. I want to use art to find a deeper meaning in the human experience. I want to prove that our thoughts and intentions can create a better future. I want to connect with others and inspire them to find and strengthen their own voice. \nThroughout my life\, I’ve started to realize the journey of self-discovery has really just been a search for a sense of belonging to something greater. I recognize that we all have that potential\, we’re just disconnected. We keep forgetting. But in those precious quiet moments\, if we close our eyes and listen\, nature gently whispers the reminder. \nSee more of Michella’s work on Facebook: @MichellaTripoliArt and @Michella.Tripoli and Instagram: @Michella_Tripoli \nDON PRASEUTH \nI believe that the Earth is a beautiful place\, and that drawing and painting are a kind of universal language. My life’s goal has been to use art as a way to understand how the world works around me—how light affects form\, how human anatomy works\, and how things in our environment react to one another. I want to share what I’ve learned so others can grow and see more clearly. \nI don’t see myself as someone who was naturally talented or gifted as an artist. I’ve been fortunate to have hardworking instructors who showed me that through repetition and deliberate practice\, improvement is possible. With thousands of drawings and hours of study\, I’ve learned that growth comes from consistent effort. \nThis show is a collection of my studies. Many of these works are unfinished\, showing the struggles that come with learning. I spent a long time trying to find my own voice\, only to realize that I value the process itself—the repetition\, the study\, and the constant critique behind every drawing and painting. \nAs both a student and an instructor\, I want people to understand that this path is not easy. There will always be challenges\, but with hard work and consistent practice\, we can push through them. By sharing what I’ve learned\, I hope others can see that they’re capable of growth and can work through the same struggles we all face as artists. \nSee more of Don’s work on Instagram: OuDonTattoos \nwww.ArtHouse310.com\nFacebook | @ArtHouse310\,  Instagram | @ArtHouse310\, TikTok | @AngieAwesomePants
