DESCRIPTION:Art House 310 First Friday – Charlotte Martin & Jim Simpson\nOpening Reception | First Friday November 6th\, 2020 | 6-10pm \nShow hangs through November 22nd. \nNATURE BASED – NATURE INSPIRED WORKS BY CHARLOTTE MARTIN AND JIM SIMPSON\nCHARLOTTE MARTIN received her BFA in painting / drawing from Wichita State University\, after studying at Arizona State University. \nHer fascination with nature began early in life\, and has only grown over time. Much of her work focuses on the smallest items – seeds\, seed pods\, small grasses\, roots\, and dead leaves. And\, of course\, there’s the interest in birds\, which continues to be part of her focus. \nJIM SIMPSON’s works have been included in Wichita Arts Council juried shows\, Kansas Watercolor 7-State Exhibitions\, National juried shows at Mark Arts\, and in private and corporate art collections.
