SUMMARY:Art House 310 First Friday – Bryce McCoy & Josh Bethel & Kevin Hansen
DESCRIPTION:Art House 310 First Friday – Bryce McCoy & Josh Bethel & Kevin Hansen\nOpening Reception | First Friday February 7th\, 2025 | 6-10pm\nThis event is free to attend and open to the public. Show hangs through February 23rd\, 2025.\nArt House 310 is located at 310 S. Laura. Two blocks SE of Douglas & Washington in downtown Wichita. \nBRYCE MCCOY \nBryce McCoy Landscapes. To find photos of places I would like to go to and painting them the way I see them so others will want to go there too is very important to me. \nI was born in Kansas City in 1961 but have lived in Wichita Kansas since 1965. I have worked in production graphics for others since college and decided I wanted to do my own art. I have always loved landscape paintings\, my father did wonderful landscapes in college. So in 2014 I took my sister’s advice to take acrylic classes at City Arts and have been painting ever since. \nLearning to paint with watercolor has been a challenge and a friend gave me some watercolor gouache; now it is my favorite medium. I have shown my art at City Arts\, Gallery VII\, Vertigo and Carriage Factory Gallery as well as many craft fairs and art festivals. I donated two paintings to PBS for a fundraiser. I joined Wichita Plein Aire Enthusiasts on Facebook and have received many awards for my paintings. \nFrom the heat of the direct sunshine to the coolness of the shade there is a distinct line of separation of color. Even in the dead of night there is light with varied levels of shadow\, but the colors are still there\, they are just much more subtle. Art helps to capture the beauty of nature and show it in a personal way\, sharing a mood or a moment in time and space. I’ve been told that my art is very calming with a sense of nostalgia. Thank You\, I hope you enjoy my art. \nSee more of Bryce’s work on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/brycegmccoy/ \nJOSH BETHEL \nJoshua R. Bethel (JRB5): Artist & Podcast Host \nRoom Green Productions is like my lint trap and the dryer is my art. It is a place where I showcase my digital art/designs\, my traditional or nontraditional art and two podcast that I host. Art Assault is the podcast that Kevin Hansen and I host where we created paintings and interview artist\, musicians\, entrepreneurs and more from across the country and locally. We help promote our guests and all the cool stuff they have going. The second podcast is ForMusicLoversOnly!. Coach Casey\, Sontia Soul and myself come up this music topics each week and then create our own Top 5 songs that fall into that topic. After the podcast airs\, a playlist is made so viewer can easily hear the songs that were discussed. Find Room Green Productions on Facebook\, YouTube or RoomGreenProductions.com \nSee more of Josh’s work online at https://www.roomgreenproductions.com\,  YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@roomgreenproductions\, and on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RoomGreenProductions \nKEVIN HANSEN \nMy studio of work can be created almost anywhere. Not just in my home studio\, but live in a podcast studio\, in a bar\, a corner on the sidewalk or even a parking lot where I just pull up. I do my best work with an audience. Where I feed off the energy from an audience to create the images to be presented. I rarely plan what is going to be created. I add layers of colors and shapes till an image becomes alive from the process. \nI like to say my images “Begin as Dr Seuss and I drag them over to Reverend Roth (Rat Fink).” As I am observed laying on layers\, images appear and disappear till one grabs hold and comes to life. With the images that come appear and get covered up are still a part of the piece. It’s a raw process of creativity that compelled me to continue to explore the depth of the energy and imagery around you. I want my viewers to realize anyone can create. Just find the tools you want to create with. I have utilized my live art presentation to help raise tens of thousands of dollars over the years and I will continue to do so. I can be found on Facebook\, Instagram and Tik Tok as Kevin Gary Hansen. You can message me on Facebook or kevingaryhansen@gmail.com if you want my services. Enjoy the exhibition and continue to support local. \nSee more of Kevin’s work on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/kevin_gary_hansen/\, and on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kevin.hansen.1671 \nwww.ArtHouse310.com\nFacebook | @ArtHouse310\,  Instagram | @ArtHouse310\, TikTok | @AngieAwesomePants
